Kenneth Dryden, “Spend Volkswagen pollution settlement on electric school buses for Delaware”

Kenneth Dryden is a facilities/planner coordinator with the Delaware Transportation Corporation. He is also a member of the Delaware Concerned Residents for Environmental Justice.

As you may remember, Volkswagen got caught back in 2015 cheating on pollution tests and ultimately settled with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) for billions of dollars, which is being divided between the states. It’s in Delaware’s best interest to use our $9.6 million in Volkswagen settlement funds for investments in fully electric transportation and vehicle replacements.
